Here is where we will go over the basic game controls.

We will go over the different screens and buttons showing you what they do and where they can be found.

This is the first screen you see after you click on the start your adventure link from the forums.

This window must be kept open while playing the game. If you close it your game will close. When your ready to log off the game, then you can close this window. (Enter) Click the "enter" button and you will go to the "create/login" screen.

This is the create/login screen. This is where you login or create a new kingdom.

(Login) If you already have a kingdom made then you just type in your username and password and click "login". (New User) If you don't have a kingdom or you want to make another then you click on the "new user" button to go to the create new kingdom page.

If you clicked to create new kingdom then this is the screen you will be looking at. If you just clicked log in then moved to the next example below. (Create User) This is the create new kingdom page. Pick a username and password and an email address. *Note: Your password is case sensitive. Be sure to write it down or something so you don't forget it.* (Pick a Race) Then pick a race to play from the drop down menu. Your race already has some points as part of the game. (Add Points) Here you get to add some more where you want them to go. You start with 10 and can disperse them where you want up to 2 in one place. Click the + button next to where you want to add a point. If you change your mind just click the - button and remove that point. 

Spell Bonus - Increases your strength in casting spells.

Build Bonus- Increases you ability to build more at a time.

Research Bonus - Increases your ability to study.

Covert Bonus - Increases your covert offense.

Fighter Bonus - Makes your fighters stronger.

Ranger Bonus - Makes your rangers stronger and more efficient.

Cleric Bonus - Makes your clerics heal better.

Mage Bonus - Increases your mages ability to cast spells better.

Thief Bonus - Makes your thieves steal better.

Ninja Bonus - Makes your ninjas assassinate better.

War Machine Bonus - Makes your war machines stronger and do more damage.

Enforcer Bonus - Increases you enforcers ability to defend against covert attacks.

When you are done placing your points then click on the "create user" button. (Level Up) *Note: This is also basically the same screen you see when you click the "level up" tab at the top while your in the game. When you have enough of the requirements your news will tell you that you can level up. When it does then you click the "level up" tab at the top of the game buttons and you will be looking at this above screen where you will then be able to pick places to put points that you acquired in your gaining a level. At this time you will get 2 points to disperse just like you did when you created your kingdom and had 10. The only difference, when leveling up you can only place a max of 1 point per thing.*

After you log in or create user your screen will change and you will be looking at the news panel. We will get to that later. (Status) Click on the top left tab named "status". (Normal Information) Then click on "normal information" The above screen is what it will look like after you click status and normal information. Here you can see all the basic information about your kingdom. Most of it explains itself. If you notice the land has a 100/00. The first number is how much land you have and the second number tells how much is not built on. Moral has 2 numbers also the first number is what your morale is currently at and the second is what it can go up to. Weapons and armor have 2 numbers. The first shows how many you have and the second shows what quality they are. Make a note of the stats across the bottom of the screen. This is on every screen. It helps you monitor your turns, food, mana, gold, people and morale while you take turns. Also note that when you move your mouse over things it gives you a brief description of what it is down in the lower left hand corner of the window. This will help you figure out a lot of things.

To the right of the "normal information" button is a "troops information" button. If you click it this above is what you will see. (Troop Information) This screen shows your basic troop information. Under "army" is how many you have of each unit. Under "skill" shows the exp of those overall troops. Defensive unit works the same. The "military tactics" button on the bottom left is used to study up your troops experience levels. This requires having researchers. The more you have the more the exp climbs each time you click this button. There is also a "military tactics" button located on the study screen when you click the "study" tab at the top.

(Study) If you click the "study" tab this is what you will be looking at. This is one of the places you study. Here each time you click on one of the buttons you study whatever it says on the button. The numbers to the right of the buttons tell you how much you have researched that specific study. Military tactics researches your troops experience making them stronger. *Note: You have to have at least 1 researcher to study. The more researchers you have the more you study at a time.* Spell book and Military tactics you can gain unlimited amount per turn studying depending on how many researchers you have. The rest go to a max of 5 points per turn.

(Search) If you click the "search" tab this is what you will be looking at. Here you search for gold, land, food other players, etc. Every time you hit a button it will search for whatever it says on the button. *Note: It requires rangers to search. How many and what quality rangers determine how good your search is.*  (Explore the World) You can pick longer ranges to explore by picking one from the pull down menu and clicking "explore the world". This exploring finds artifacts that give you things, some good and some bad.

(Adviser) If you click "adviser" tab then you will be looking at this page. This is where your adviser can give you some useful information. (Racial Information) "Racial information" is where it tells you what alignment your race is and how many orbs you have and what your war, magic, covert exp is as well as your karma points. Also it tells you a little about the spells. (Trade Reports) If you press the "trade reports" button it tells you what all trades have gone on for the day from other people. (Covert Reports) If you press the "covert reports" button you can see what all covert activities have gone on for the day. *Note: The covert reports and trade reports are a good way to see who all is working together.* (War Preferences) If you press the "war preferences" button you will see a couple options for war. Like if you want to keep the buildings you take or burn them and just get land if you win. The "send you an email if your attacked" is turned off so leave it alone.

(Options) If you click the "options" tab you will be looking at this screen. This is your options page. (Vacation Mode) The first 3 buttons along the top of this page are your vacations buttons. If you are going to be gone away from your kingdom for several days you can put your kingdom on vacation. While on vacation you can't be attacked or spelled. You also can't take turns. If you set your kingdom on vacation you must stay on it for a minimum of 3 days and no longer than 7 days. When you exit vacation mode you cant re-enter it for 7 days from the day you exited it. So be sure its what you want before entering or exiting. *Note: There is a game penalty system that takes affect after 50 million score. If your kingdom is left abandon (not taken any turns) for 4 days your people start rioting and leaving. Your buildings start to fall and you start to forget your studies. Vacation mode does NOT protect you from this.* Ok if you want to enter vacation mode you click on the first button that says "vacation mode". If you change your mind you click the third button that is "deny vacation" and that backs you out of it. If not then you click the second button that says "confirm vacation". *Note: Once you have confirmed there is no going back.* To get out of vacation mode you come back here and click the "vacation mode" button and then "confirm button" and it will tell you that you are out. (Delete Accounts) Next is the "delete account button". I think that is simply understood. you click the "delete account" button and then "confirm (yes) or deny (no)" *Note: You can only delete your account if you are under 50,000 score.* (Change Taxes) Next under that is the "change tax rate" button. To the right of that button is a slide bar for your taxes. Slide the bar and it shows what your taxes are to the right of the slider. When you get your taxes where you want them then you press the "change tax rate" button to make it permanent. Next...........the "show adult advertising" check box doesn't work so forget it. (Change Password) Last is the "change password" button. If you would like to change your password then you type your new password in in the first box next to the button and then type it again in the second box. Then press "change password". *Note: Your password is case sensitive. Be sure to write it down or something so you don't forget it.*
